YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as pat of Vilnius team, you will be responsible for providing support on all indirect tax impacts to our clients in Luxembourg, France, the UK across a range of different client segments, including private equity, real estate, commercial companies and investment funds.
Under the guidance of experienced team members, you will be involved in:
Assisting in the preparation of Luxembourg, French and UK VAT returns, including analysis of client transactions and supporting documentation.
Supporting the preparation of EC Sales Listings and other indirect tax compliance reports.
Collecting, validating and organizing accounting, invoice and other relevant information required for VAT compliance purposes.
Assisting with VAT research and analysis of client activities to determine the VAT treatment of transactions.
Assisting with the submission process of VAT returns and communications with tax authorities where required.
Working closely with internal teams to address VAT-related queries and ensure compliance requirements are met.
Supporting the maintenance and improvement of working papers, templates, procedures and internal documentation.
Participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives and internal training sessions.
Keeping up to date with VAT developments and assisting in the preparation of internal communications on indirect tax topics.
YOUR PROFILE
What we'll look for on your CV:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
Interest in indirect taxation, accounting and financial services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
