For our office in Vilnius, we are looking for a Corporate Credit Analyst with a strong grasp of the global private credit markets and an outstanding work ethic. As credit analyst you will support the credit analysis of corporate loan portfolios for our client base or premier private debt and CLO managers. You will work as part of a team focused on delivering quality and timely data, interpreting company financial information, calculating credit metrics and deeply understanding clients’ credit monitoring needs. The below tasks further elaborate your goals:

 

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with client’s portfolio management teams and with internal colleagues to work on the financial models and the platform according to customer needs;
  • Review and assess financial data sets;
  • Oversee onboarding and monitoring of new credits and analyse the relative financial statements;
  • Calculate key credit ratios/metrics;
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of loan market trends and issues;
  • Flexible and excited to work on an emerging product line and technology;
  • Customer focus, develop strong professional relationships with key clients;
  • Collaborative and able to listen to new points of view, as well as articulate a strong opinion.

YOUR PROFILE

What we’ll look for on your CV:

  • You hold a degree in accounting, finance or economics;
  • Experience within a rating agency, commercial bank, asset manager, audit or consulting role relating to asset management;
  • Experience in building historical financial models and in updating portfolio models;
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis, fundamental data and accounting mechanisms;
  • Proficiency with calculations and ratios to assess credit worthiness of portfolio companies;
  • Knowledge of capital structures and liquidity profiles;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite;
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail;
  • Effectiveness working individually and within a team environment.

What will make you stand out in a crowd:

  • Corporate credit risk modelling and asset-level credit analytical skills are a strong plus;
  • Background in credit risk portfolio, CLO and sub-investment grade;
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, IMC, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc. preferred;
  • Advanced Excel skills with exposure to financial modelling.
