Senior Accounting Controller (Transaction Monitoring and Reconciliation)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform cash reconciliation and transaction monitoring process accurately and efficiently in accordance with Directives and guidelines
• Review reports prepared by Junior Accounting Controllers and ensure the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of deliverables prepared for stakeholders in accordance with a pre-defined process
• Liaising with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issue on a timely basis;
• Ensure relevant information is provided to TA, depositary and the Fund Manager;
• Leads Business Unit or Department-wide process improvement initiatives
• Assist the Lead to ensure tasks are performed in the most efficient manner and that process documentation is kept up-to-date and other ad-hoc tasks

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration plus 5+ years of relevant working experience bank reconciliation, accounting and controlling. Candidates with post-graduate or relevant professional qualifications in the field of finance, economics, business administration and the like, but lesser relevant work experience may also be considered
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, word, outlook)
• Ability to adhere to new market regulations and implement to process if needed
• Detail oriented, well-organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle high volume and work under pressure
• Happy to work as part of an international team
• Role model within the team and the Business Unit with regards to work dedication and professional business behavior
• Driven, collaborative and able to communicate well with stakeholders
• Ability to integrate within a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse global team
