Alter Domus is currently seeking a new Assistant Fund Manager to join our Private Equity Fund Services Team at our Salt Lake City, Utah office. This will be hybrid where you will work 8x a month in the office, twice a week. You can be part of a unique culture, a place that teamwork is encouraged and hard work is rewarded. The Utah location is known for its innovation in fund services and recently developed a highly successful Asset Owner Solutions offering. JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • Review cash transactions and journal entries for proper allocations; 

  • Prepare cash forecasting; 

  • Review accounts payable processing and allocations; 

  • Assist in final review of T&E reporting and journal entry allocations; 

  • Assist with preparing and reviewing monthly financials and supporting schedules; 

  • Prepare fixed assets schedules; 

  • Prepare Intercompany tracking and recharge; 

  • Assist with review of accruals, prepaids, and expense analysis; 

  • Assist with audited financial preparation and footnotes; 

  • Participate in audit planning meetings; 

  • Prepare 1099 support for tax filings and liaison with tax advisors; 

  • Perform client communications and coordinating response to inquiries in a timely manner and sense of urgency; and 

  • Understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client. 

  

YOUR PROFILE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 

  • 5+ years of professional experience; 

  • Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and/or Venture Capital Accounting or Auditing experience; 

  • Investran experience preferred; 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; 

  • Keen attention to detail and critical thinking skills; 

  • Ability to multitask, working both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
