Corporate Services Accountant - Nicosia

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs, including:

 

  • Assisting clients with the general administration of holding companies, investing, financing and intellectual property companies, as well as real estate companies;
  • Handling the day-to-day operations of companies;
  • Keeping company books and preparing periodic reports;
  • Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits;
  • Preparing statutory financial statements and maintaining contact with auditors when applicable;
  • Preparing corporate tax and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with the tax authorities and tax advisers when applicable;
  • Taking part in developing restructuring plans or other transactions in compliance with recommendations of the local regulatory body, including spin – offs, mergers and acquisitions;
  • Assisting with the organization of board meetings and shareholders meetings.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • You are in the process of studying for your professional accounting qualification (preferably ACCA);
  • You preferably have 2-3 years’ of relevant work experience;
  • Experience in corporate secretarial services will be considered an advantage;
  • Experience with using Caseware would be considered an advantage;
  • Experience with Payroll and using E-soft will be considered an advantage;
  • Fluency in both English and Greek (written and spoken) is a requirement;
  • You are an effective communicator and are happy to work as part of a team;
  • You have strong organisation skills;
  • You can work independently, while also possessing risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information.
