Alter Domus Data and Analytics is currently seeking a new Senior Product Designer and UX Architect to join our Data and Analytics team.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•    UX Architect and product designer for a new platform of applications and services, to be developed for private equity firms
•    Develop a deep understanding of customers and the industry to translate the market needs into tangible prototypes that drive the product roadmap
•    Frequently interfacing with customers (internal and external) to understand needs, trends and solutions
•    Develop and design high fidelity prototypes for new products
•    Managing each stage of the product development lifecycle, from ideation and hypothesis formation, to prototyping and validation, through development, launch and further iteration.
•    Align activities, strategies, responsibilities, and objectives with the firm's strategic direction. Execute on strategy and objectives with global vendor partners and internal teams 
•    Establish and maintain effective communication to leadership and relationships across teams, departments, divisions, and vendors around successes, and meaningful KPIs/OKRs, SLAs/OLAs
•    Stays curious and current. Independently seeks and develops new skills while internalizing leadership feedback.
•    Ability to manage junior ux team members 
•    Recommend improvements to strategy, platforms, plans and future opportunities with a mindset of continuous improvement.
•    Lead or participate in product management initiatives and design sprints, for product lines or services


YOUR PROFILE:

•    Serve as a hands on, flexible product designer with the ability to work across multiple teams, detailed oriented while considering the bigger picture and long-term strategy
•    Experienced at interfacing with customers (internal and external) to solicit feedback; understanding their needs
•    Must have the ability to independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet project goals, objectives and deliverables
•    Communicate clearly and succinctly across departments and to senior management concerning status, trade-offs, and key UI/UX recommendations
•    Experience with programs required to adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies
•    Collaborate and consult with managers, analysts, technologists and project teams to ensure that goals are achieved
•    Lead projects and teams or serve as a mentor to train junior team members.
•    Work closely with our data team and engineering team, as well as other product managers to help determine the best implementation approach and a reasonable execution schedule
•    Support all aspects of product design, with an ownership mindset and consistent delivery on commitments
•    Lead the creation, design, and delivery of data products/platform.
•    Be flexible surrounding ever-changing needs of users and the team. 
•    Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the new platform.
