Your role

The Global Partner Director is responsible for shaping and executing global partnership strategy for a defined set of strategic partners, with a dedicated focus on the North America market. The role is both strategy and execution‑oriented, accountable for translating global partnership strategy and objectives into local execution that drives impactful partner‑influenced growth within New York and the broader North America market.

 

Reporting to the Global Head of Alliances & Partnerships (A&P), this role will transform and build a curated network of advisors, technology providers, and financial institutions that strengthens client outcomes across the private market's lifecycle.  The Global A&P team is a new global team that forms part of the Global Commercial organization.  The A&P team has been established to accelerate growth for Alter Domus through partner-influenced sales and to build an ecosystem of alliances and partnerships through trusted client referrals.  This will unlock and drive immense value and new revenue streams for the company that will help the organization to grow and scale.

 

The Global Partner Director will galvanize members of the Commercial organization in a collaborative and inclusive way, to re-imagine results and drive success at speed.  The successful individual will be comfortable working with ambiguity, bringing clarity and structure where needed and building for longer-term value creation.  They will be a creative and  a solutions orientated sales focused leader, with the ability to influence at all levels internally and externally.  Commercially astute and client centric, the Global Partner Director will make data-driven decisions and bring rigor and excellence to this role.  The individual will have a transformation mind-set with an adaptable style that engenders trust.

 

Your responsibilities

Drive Partner‑Influenced Pipeline & Sales

  • Build and manage joint business plans with selected partners active in the NY market.
  • Embed AD value propositions into partner ecosystems and field organizations to expand early-stage pipeline.
  • Activate co‑sell motions in coordination with NY‑based sales and relationship teams.
  • Equip field teams with partner-specific value propositions, case studies, and GTM assets.

 

Expand Brand Visibility & Market Awareness in North America

  • Lead co‑marketing initiatives with strategic partners (events, roadshows, executive briefings).
  • Develop AD’s presence on partner marketplaces and catalogues.
  • Drive thought-leadership engagements with partners to penetrate underdeveloped markets.
  • Build partner success stories to strengthen AD brand awareness and value proposition to enhance visibility across the partnership and influencer ecosystem in collaboration with Marketing, Brand and Communications.

 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to position AD’s innovation roadmap within the influencer ecosystems

  • Partner with Technology and Product teams to understand the development roadmap, bringing AD’s SMEs and internal experts to the table to position AD as the partner of choice.
  • Collaborate with RM and Sales teams to identify opportunities with influencers and feeders to ensure there is a cohesive approach to building relationships, presenting one firm to potential partners.
  • Support cross-border opportunities and global client coverage models.

 

Co‑Develop Verticalized Solutions & Innovation

  • Co-create industry-specific solutions leveraging partner data, AI, and workflow orchestration.
  • Identify opportunities to embed partner capabilities into AD Intelligence and adjacent services.
  • Lead integration discovery and prioritization across the partner ecosystem to increase stickiness and margin uplift.

 

Reduce Cost of Sale Through Partner Enablement

  • Codify partner-led sales plays that shorten cycles and introduce earlier buyer influence.
  • Equip internal sellers with partner GTM assets, reference architectures, and integration narratives.
  • Streamline governance across partner-influenced pursuits to make partner involvement predictable and efficient. 

 

Increase Win Rates & Differentiate AD in Market

  • Increase AD visibility and early‑stage consideration in NY‑centric pursuits and RFPs.
  • Strengthen AD’s positioning through unique partner data integrations, AI capabilities, and vertical assets.
  • Work with accounting firms, law firms, consultancies, and banks to increase RFP visibility and early consideration.
  • Build and maintain an influencer ecosystem that surfaces AD earlier in the decision process.

 

KPIs for A&P

  • Quarterly partner-influenced pipeline generated.
  • Annual partner-influenced sales closed.
  • Number of partner-qualified referrals and co-sell pursuits sourced.
  • Reduction in sales cycle time for partner-driven opportunities.
  • % of active pursuits with partner involvement.
  • Increase in RFP inclusion rate via influencers.
  • Number of co-marketing and market-facing partner activities.
  • Number of integrations or co-developed offerings launched.
  • Adoption rates of partner-enabled features in AD platforms. 
  • Firm-wide collaboration to drive AD’s ambition for the global A&P network and develop a strong operating muscle for the commercial organization.
  • Broaden reach in target client firms and providing services that creates recurring revenue streams and seamless integration.
  • Accelerate the partner network to create a compounding prospect pipeline that increases win rates and shortens sales cycles.

 

Your profile

  • Alliances & Partnerships, Business Development, and Sales experience with partner ecosystems is required.
  • Leadership experience, leading and building teams / functions in a region or key market.  Strong track record of growing and mentoring high-performing and customer-focused teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development and inclusion. 
  • Demonstrable experience in mature, scalable operations in high growth and complex organizations.  Private capital industry or Financial Services / Fintech experience would be advantageous, larger company environments where change and transformation have been constant, is desirable.  
  • Deep and trusted client and customer experience with proven track record of sales and revenue generation as well as overachievements of goals, objectives and targets.  Ability to translate client relationships into tangible sales outcomes with impact and durability.
  • An evangelistic leader, agile and innovative.  Able to quickly grasp new trends and themes and communicate simply for a wider sales organization.  Seamlessly works with others to generate and drive revenue and sales targets. 
  • Passion and knowledge for technology and AI, particularly strong expertise in roles that involve data-drive decision making, forecasting and analysis, AI acceleration and implementation, and process automation to support driving sales and revenue objectives.

Salary Range: For this role we offer a salary of $125,000 - $210,000 depending on the skills and experience brought to the position. We encourage all candidates to apply and discuss the overall package with our recruitment team.
