Group Financial Controller

For our office in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a GROUP financial CONTROLLER. We offer a young, dynamic, and international corporate atmosphere as well as the benefit of customized training adapted to your needs throughout your career.

You will be responsible for the production of the parent company and consolidated financial statements of the Alter Domus group.




Historical Financial Statements:


  • Define and manage the monthly group financial reporting processes and timetable to ensure that the financial statements are aligned with all financial reporting requirements;
  • Manage the consolidation of a complex group structure comprising over 70 legal entities spread across the approximately 20 countries and multiple currencies;
  • Schedule and drive reviews of the monthly group financial statements with the CFO;
  • Control the issuance of project accounting codes and subsequent project controls and reporting;
  • Ensure that agreed transfer pricing policies are maintained and enforced;
  • Ensure that all balances sheets accounts are fully reconciled on an at least quarterly basis;
  • Work with the Group Treasurer to make sure that any financial instruments are properly accounted for; and with the Group Head of Tax to ensure that all fiscal matters are properly accounted for.


Reporting requirements:


  • Ensure that the monthly management accounts are issued to key internal stakeholders in accordance with agreed reporting timetables;
  • Collaborate with the Group Commercial Finance Director to respond to and resolve any financial queries from the shareholders or representatives;
  • Ensure that quarterly financial statements are provided to all shareholders and that the financial statements components are provided to the group’s bankers and agents;
  • Ensure that all Luxembourg and overseas local statutory accounts are completed and filed on time.


Other responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the group-wide implementation of the new SAP ERP system;
  • Ensure appropriate internal control frameworks operate across the group;
  • As a people manager you have primary responsible to ensure that the staff are continually developed and coached.




  • You have 15 years + relevant professional experience;
  • You are used to work with Board level management;
  • You hold a university degree and you are a Qualified Accountant ;
  • You have the experience building high-performing teams ;
  • Willingness to travel internationally is required;
  • You are fluent in English (knowledge of French is an advantage).
