Depositary Legal and Regulatory Manager

You will report to the Head of Depositary Services in Luxembourg and your responsibilities includes the below:

  • You will assist and advise on various AIFMD and depositary related matters for the PSF
  • You will be in charge of the on boarding of new funds and clients from a legal perspective
  • You will draft and review contract and corporate documentation / agreements, prepare answers in support of operational teams and advise them on the legal consequences of these documents.
  • You will protect Alter Domus’ and the PSF interests in the process of negotiating agreements with clients or suppliers. You will assist the Head of Depositary services in the risk monitoring of the depositary activities
  • You will be responsible of the on boarding and ongoing due diligences on third parties with the support of the depositary team. Within the Depositary team, you will make the link with the Alter Domus Legal Team and the Alter Domus Compliance team
  • You will take part to the enhancement of AIFMD and depositary legal knowledge of our internal staff via training, legal watch, creation and maintenance of templates, etc




  • You hold a univerity degree in law ideally completed by postgraduate studies in corporate law, commercial law or international law
  • You have 5  to 7 years of experience, you have knowledge of the Luxembourg funds environment, including AIFMD.
  • You have experience in the fund administration, custody, depositary control, or audit. Experience in private equity or alternative asset class is an asset.
  • You have a good understanding of all risks a business structure like Alter Domus is facing in a global context where regulations are increasing and you are familiar with legal watch process.
  • You possess team spirit, the capacity to build strong client relationships and take initiative to act.
  • You have a very good level in English (knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset).
