JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Your role

You will lead the transformation of how our organisation uses data. This is a strategic, high‑impact role where you will shape the future of insight delivery—moving us from traditional dashboarding to a modern, conversational, AI‑enabled BI ecosystem. You will partner with data engineers, BI analysts, data scientists, and Datasphere specialists, ensuring we deliver trusted, timely, and actionable insights across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Risk, People, and Legal. Your mission is simple: turn data into a competitive advantage.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Own the enterprise BI strategy and drive the shift toward conversational, AI‑powered insights

  • Oversee the creation of high‑value dashboards and analytical products for all corporate business functions

  • Design and lead the implementation of a semantic layer, and metadata framework to enable automation and AI

  • Champion data quality, governance, and best‑in‑class BI practices across the company

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities where data can unlock growth, efficiency, and innovation

  • Ensure BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, and others) are optimised, governed, and widely adopted

  • Drive a culture of self‑service analytics and fact‑based decision‑making

 

Your profile

  • Proven experience leading BI, analytics, or data teams in a complex, multi‑functional environment

  • Deep expertise in Power BI, Databricks and modern visualisation technologies

  • Experience with semantic layers, and enterprise metadata management

  • Strong understanding of how to enable AI‑driven insights

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions

  • Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and inspire technical teams

  • Passionate about innovation, automation, and the future of BI
