YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of the ILM services team and you will be in charge of:

  • Maintaining consistent and timely client communication on regulatory changes, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Screening regulatory and policy changes - serve as the primary point of contact for clients and investors about regulatory matters, including changes to AD policies and procedures.
  • Communication to clients - pro-actively communicate to clients about updates to the Bailiwick’s AML/CFT/CPF laws/regulation, as well as changes in risk rating assessments. Notify clients pro-actively on forthcoming changes.  Assess changes fully and communicate final impact assessments and next courses of action to clients.

  • RCSA owner - maintain up-to-date trackers and ensure action owners progress their actions in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with AD Compliance, 1LoD, and CDD/KYA operational teams to ensure alignment on the Bailiwick’s laws and regulatory requirements, and their applicability to investor files.
  • Own the AML manual(s) for CDD and KYA, and ensure these are kept up-to-date and specific for the Bailiwick’s evolving regulatory framework.
  • Oversee the execution of delegated CDD processes and ensure oversight is performed as expected. Document and retain evidence of monthly meetings and KPIs, as well as annual visits.
  • Address and resolve investor queries or issues promptly and effectively, within SLA response times.
  • Work closely with compliance and CDD operational teams to ensure alignment and support for investors and their representatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies within the CDD framework, to better serve clients and their investors.
  • Ability to mentor and upskill people, in particular on the specifics of the Bailiwick’s AML/CFT/CPF framework.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have a strong working knowledge of Guernsey’s investment, fiduciary and AML/CFT/CPF regulatory frameworks.
  • You hold a degree in law, finance or economics, or have completed an appropriate compliance qualification, such as an ICA Diploma or equivalent.
