RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Subject matter expert for Real Estate Fund Administration (FA), Real Estate Technology, and Fund Implementations.
  • Thorough understanding of deal requirements in Real Estate Fund Administration for successful fund implementation, including leading scoping exercises with internal accounting teams for new entity setup.
  • Work on complex project setup in Yardi such as management fees and performance calculations
  • Work with the technology team to deploy new software such as DataExchange 2.0 and ensure it egresses correctly to Yardi
  • Work with Real Estate accounting team to ensure best practices are utilized across all of Fund Administration. 
  • Work with leadership to review, suggest, and implement process improvements to ensure compliance adherence across Real Estate accounting group. 
  • Assist with managing the workload of the Analyst.
  • Coordination of system configuration information with Tech team.
  • Coordination of data testing and validation for funds being implemented/migrated
  • Coordination of custom reporting setup
  • Consistent involvement with troubleshooting and resolving business user’s requests.

 

Requirements: 

  • Information Technology literate, proficient in Yardi, and strong Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of different types of investments
  • Broad market knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to navigate unexpected challenges
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • 7 + years in fintech, financial services, real estate, finance, or accounting
  • Demonstrate the AD Values
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) a plus  
  • Knowledge of current industry standards (ex: ILPA reporting, NCREIF, return calculation methodology, performance modeling, etc.)
