Your Role
The Transformation Senior Officer is an execution-focused role embedded within the Transformation Office, supporting the delivery of operational transformation initiatives across the business. Working closely with the Transformation Program Lead, this individual contributes to discrete process improvement and change projects — from diagnostic and analysis through to implementation and BAU handover.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and eager to develop their skills in program delivery and business analysis — someone who takes ownership of their assigned tasks, communicates clearly, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
In this role you will work alongside Global Process Owners, operational teams in our global Client Delivery Centers, and Product and Technology stakeholders, contributing to transformation plans in a regulated, client-centric, and compliance-minded environment.
The Ideal Candidate
You are organised, detail-oriented, and motivated by tangible outcomes. You are comfortable working through complexity and ambiguity, and you take ownership of your assigned tasks. You communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, and you are eager to grow your analytical and project delivery capabilities in a fast-paced environment where your contribution is visible and valued.
Your Responsibilities
🔷 Program Delivery & Execution
- Support the delivery of assigned transformation workstreams by completing tasks, tracking milestones, and flagging risks and dependencies to the Program Lead
- Maintain and update workstream plans and trackers, ensuring activities are logically sequenced and progress is accurately recorded
- Contribute to a culture of accountability and pace, proactively flagging blockers and helping to resolve them
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes, decisions, and outcomes throughout the engagement lifecycle
🔷 Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution
- Apply structured analytical techniques to break down operational challenges, gather and interpret data, and contribute to the formation of clear recommendations
- Proactively identify risks and issues within your assigned tasks and escalate to the Program Lead with proposed mitigations
- Exercise sound judgement to manage competing priorities and maintain delivery momentum
🔷 Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build effective working relationships with business, operations, and technology counterparts across assigned initiatives
- Prepare clear and well-structured task updates, status notes, and risk logs for review by the Program Lead
- Assist in the facilitation of working group meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions, ensuring actions and decisions are captured and followed up
🔷 Change Management & BAU Handover
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, controls, and performance metrics to sustain new ways of working
- Support BAU teams in preparing for handover by assisting with training materials, process documentation, and transition planning
- Participate in structured handover activities at program close, ensuring continuity and a clean transition to business-as-usual
🔷 Team Contribution & Development
- Act as a collaborative and constructive team member, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive team culture
- Actively develop your own skills in program delivery, problem structuring, and stakeholder engagement
- Support more junior Business Analysts where needed, helping to review work and maintain quality standards
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- 5–7 years of professional experience in project support, business analysis, process improvement, operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to structured workstreams within cross-functional programs or projects
- Strong analytical skills — able to gather and interpret data, identify issues, and contribute to clear, actionable recommendations
- Good communication skills, including experience preparing written updates and participating in working group sessions
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability
Desirable
- Domain knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Fund Administration (e.g., NAV production, investor reporting, transfer agency, custody operations, or related middle/back-office processes)
- Financial Services Technology (e.g., platforms, system implementations, or digital transformation)
- AI Enablement (e.g., GenAI adoption, process automation, or AI-assisted workflows)
- Prior exposure to a Transformation Office or similar centre of excellence
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter) and/or project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, PMP)
- Undergraduate degree from a leading institution
