Reporting to the Head of Third-Party Risk Management, the Third-Party Risk Management Officer will be responsible for owning and running the onboarding and life cycle management of Alter Domus’ third-parties. In doing so you will balance meeting the commercial, technology and operational needs of the business at pace with ensuring the risk and regulatory requirements of the Group are met and evidencable. 
This is a hands-on, second-line role requiring proactivity, an ability to multi-task, logical thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION


•    Own and drive the completion of the Alter Domus third-party risk management due diligence process in support of the 1st Line during the initiation of a new internal or external third-party arrangement.
•    Own and drive the completion of the Alter Domus regulatory assessments and determinations (e.g. DORA, EBA, CSSF, CIF & Outsourcing) in support of the 1st Line during the initiation of a new internal or external third-party arrangement.
•    Escalate any issues identified during the due diligence and regulatory assessments in relation to a new third-party arrangement for evaluation and satisfactory resolution, prior to the onboarding of that arrangement.
•    Communicate clearly with stakeholders on the progress of the due diligence and regulatory assessments and determinations in line with their priorities and ensure those stakeholders are aware of the actions or regulatory obligations resulting from those exercises.  
•    Ensure there is a complete, structured and accessible record of the due diligence and regulatory assessment undertaken prior to the onboarding of a new third-party relationship.
•    Undertake lifecycle reviews of those third-party arrangements in a timely fashion.
•    Where necessary prepare the materials required for mandatory regulatory notifications in relation to new internal or external third-party arrangements.
•    Maintain the outsourcing registers for our regulated entities ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely submissions.
•    Provide 2nd Line support to the 1st Line in the ongoing life cycle management of Alter Domus third-party arrangements.
•    Manage 2nd Line responses to 1st Line, audit and regulator questions and queries about new or existing third-party arrangements.
•    Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Third-Party Risk Management function and broader Risk and Compliance department.  
 


PROFILE


•    Solid knowledge of the third-party onboarding process for regulated entities in the financial services sector. 
•    Demonstrable risk management awareness and expertise. 
•    Have an awareness of the regulatory environment and requirements in relation to third-party arrangements, particularly in Luxembourg, Ireland and the EEA.
