As the QA Manager – Automation & Workflow, you will define and lead the quality strategy for our Automation and Workflow product suite. Moving beyond traditional testing, you will drive the adoption of intelligent automation, agentic testing frameworks, and shift-left quality practices. You will manage a team of QA Engineers responsible for validating complex, rule-based engines and automated workflows that integrate with platforms such as Kyriba, Yardi, eFront, and other core systems. This role requires a strong balance of technical depth, leadership capability, and a product-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the QA roadmap for the Workflow team, transitioning from manual verification to a shift-left, automation-first, and AI-driven testing strategy.
- Establish quality metrics, best practices, and governance models to support global delivery timelines.
Workflow Validation
- Oversee the end-to-end validation of complex, multi-level approval workflows and automated data hand-offs across internal and external systems.
- Ensure reliability, auditability, and compliance across all workflow configurations.
Framework Ownership
- Lead the design, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
- Champion intelligent test orchestration, agentic testing, and reusable automation assets.
Integration & API Testing
- Validate seamless data flows between core accounting systems and the automation layer.
- Ensure API accuracy, performance, and stability across interconnected platforms.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 QA Engineers.
- Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement through the Alter Domus Academy and internal knowledge-sharing programs.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Software Engineering, Product Managers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment across product design, development, and release cycles.
- Represent QA in roadmap discussions, risk assessments, and delivery planning.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
Experience
- B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 3–5 years in a formal leadership or management role.
- Proven experience building, scaling, and driving automation initiatives across complex, multi‑system products.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to deliver clear test cases, well‑structured defect reports, and high-quality documentation.
- Demonstrated expertise in test case design, scenario identification, and functional coverage planning.
- Expert-level ability in writing, maintaining, and optimizing automated tests for fast-evolving products and continuously changing platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and launching automation frameworks from scratch (highly preferred).
- Strong technical proficiency in T‑SQL, Excel VBA macros, C#, and Python for data validation, automation scripting, and workflow testing.
- Deep knowledge of Selenium IDE, UI automation, and web testing best practices.
- Prior experience in FinTech, Private Equity, or Fund Administration is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Pega, n8n, UiPath, or Claude Cowork, and CI/CD pipelines within JIRA-based environments.
