IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer

We are looking for a System engineer to join the IT Operations team. The scope of his/her work will be to support Alter Domus infrastructure during US business hours and participate in infrastructure related projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Respond to incidents and requests related to infrastructure, during US time zone

· Provide support to IT Teams on specific projects or requests

· Help deliver infrastructure projects with the right balance of cost, time, scope, and quality

· Provide hands-on expertise on systems related projects and collaborate with other members of the IT Operations Team

· Deploy and troubleshoot various types of infrastructure services and platforms

· Monitor and measure infrastructure availability and performance

· Maintains safe and clean working environment by following and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

· Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including server and client OS, Active Directory and SQL

· Experience in administering virtual environments (VMware)

· Experience with Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure, Office 365)

· Good understanding of network components and standard protocols

· Basic knowledge of Citrix solutions

· Managed Services and Cloud experience

· Understanding of monitoring and reporting platforms, and associated tasks or operations

· Familiar with ITIL framework, tickets and Change management and associated workflows

YOUR PROFILE:

· At least 10+ years of technical background in Systems, being a former System Engineer is an asset.

· Experience and good knowledge of Citrix solutions and components: Citrix CVAD and/or DaaS, Gateway.

· Team player with strong interpersonal skills
· Expert in Powershell

· Willingness to work with teams in multiple time zones

· Able to interact with all levels of management

· Experienced in managing challenging situations with key client requirements and third-party constraints, and expert in building consensus in such situations

· You can work under pressure and time constraints and maintain strict attention to detail in high-pressure situations

· Able to coordinate multiple 3rd party providers

· You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
