Quant Analyst

Your role

Reporting to the Head of Financial Risk and Corporate Sustainability, you will support the development and delivery of quantitative solutions to underpin Financial Risk management at Alter Domus. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of financial risk analyses, frameworks and reporting, while developing your skills and growing your understanding of financial risk management practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative analysis across AD's financial risk framework, including Treasury and Finance processes and controls, contributing to the accuracy and reliability of internal risk models and analytical outputs.

  • Support the development and implementation of AD's financial risk management framework, including assisting in the design of quantitative methodologies, calibrating risk models and contributing to supporting policies and governance documentation.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of AD's internal loss model, applying statistical techniques across the model lifecycle — including data preparation, parameter estimation, validation and back-testing — under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of risk appetite metrics, limits and thresholds, and support the use of data analytics and AI tools to generate insights that inform risk management decisions.

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with capital requirements under local and global capital adequacy frameworks and support the oversight of defined benefit liabilities.

  • Work collaboratively within the team, sharing knowledge and actively engaging in a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and analytical outputs, bringing curiosity and structured thinking to day-to-day tasks.

  • Build credibility as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders, communicating findings clearly and supporting well-reasoned recommendations.

Your profile

  • Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in financial services, with exposure to financial risk, quantitative analysis, compliance or a related discipline.

  • Good understanding of quantitative modelling concepts, with some hands-on experience in Python and data analytics tools.

  • Ability to contribute to risk and control assessments, and to support regulatory or non-financial reporting responsibilities under guidance.

  • Eager to learn and develop, with the initiative to seek out resources and build knowledge independently.

  • Strong attention to detail, with a disciplined and methodical approach to delivering accurate and reliable work.

  • Growing ability to connect analytical outputs to broader business objectives and risk management goals.

  • Clear and structured communicator, able to present findings in a concise and accessible way to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • A collaborative team player who is comfortable engaging with different stakeholder groups and building positive working relationships.
