Your role:
Our organization is seeking a motivated SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Order to Cash (O2C) Analyst to join our SAP IT department. Having successfully gone live on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud in 2022, we are now focused on maximizing the value of our investment through system optimization, continuous improvement, and the adoption of new platform capabilities.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your SAP career while supporting business-critical O2C processes that directly impact customer satisfaction and revenue realization. The successful candidate will work in close and structured partnership with the O2C Process Owner on the business side - while process design, process analysis, and data ownership remain firmly within the remit of the Process Owner, this role is responsible for providing reliable system support and contributing to the continuous improvement of SAP system solutions underpinning the O2C process.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 system support for O2C-related processes, acting as the primary IT point of contact for O2C system queries and issues
- Respond to and manage user inquiries through the ticketing system in a timely and structured manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve O2C system issues, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and issue documentation
- Escalate complex or unresolvable system issues to SAP where required, managing the follow-up through to resolution
- Perform system configuration in line with SAP best practices and aligned with requirements provided by the Process Owner
- Implement and unit test e-invoicing solutions in DRC, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration documentation for all changes and decisions
- Support master data mass maintenance activities in coordination with the Process Owner and data teams
- Create and execute test scripts for O2C scenarios covering unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support
- Document test results, defects, and resolutions in a clear and structured manner
- Retest fixes and validate solutions before sign-off and deployment
- Support and coordinate quarterly SAP Public Cloud release testing activities relevant to the O2C scope
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues to drive permanent resolution
- Create and maintain comprehensive system and process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, configuration documentation, and troubleshooting guides
- Ensure all system changes and enhancements are accurately documented and version-controlled
- Contribute to the knowledge base of the SAP IT team to support effective issue resolution and onboarding
- Act as the dedicated IT counterpart to the O2C Process Owner, maintaining a close and collaborative working relationship
- Receive and translate business and process requirements provided by the Process Owner into effective SAP system configurations and solutions
- Proactively advise the Process Owner on system capabilities, constraints, and opportunities within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform that may impact O2C processes
- Support the Process Owner in evaluating new SAP functionalities delivered through quarterly release cycles, providing technical assessment and coordination where agreed
- Ensure all system changes are fully aligned with process decisions and data rules defined by the Process Owner prior to implementation
- Identify and propose system-driven improvements and automation opportunities within the live SAP environment, in collaboration with the Process Owner
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to best practice documentation
- Support change management activities related to system changes and enhancements
Your skills:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in an SAP IT support or analyst role, ideally within an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment
- Good working knowledge of SAP O2C processes and related system configuration, including billing, customer management, and credit management
- Familiarity with SAP FICO concepts (GL, AR) as they relate to the O2C end-to-end process
- Experience with e-invoicing solutions, including DRC or equivalent tools
- Experience working with ticketing and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience creating and executing test scripts
- Ability to produce clear and accurate technical and functional documentation
- Strong understanding of IT general controls and internal controls frameworks as applied within SAP
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain an effective working relationship with process owners and business teams
- Excellent listening and communication skills, able to understand business needs and translate them accurately into technical solutions
- Rigorous and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Able to clearly articulate system constraints and options to non-technical audiences
- Self-driven and proactive, comfortable operating in a run-and-improve model balancing day-to-day support with longer-term enhancement work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a dynamic environment
