Real Estate Services Greater China Team Lead, Senior Manager

Hong-Kong, HK

To develop and implement a coordinated and regional strategy for the provision of administration services (property data integration, accounting, reporting, compliance related work, …) to property owning companies across all Alter Domus locations within a specific region, and to develop and maintain Alter Domus’ Real Estate client base and to position Alter Domus as a global leader in the market in this area.

In this regard to act as leader in research (planning), innovation (developing) and execution (client management) for Real Estate clients.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Develop and monitor the overall service offering and work on operational improvement, resulting ultimately in increased operational efficiencies and consistency in approach across the AD international network.
  • Assessing real estate market needs/requirements (current and future) and identify gaps and opportunities (across all geographies), competitor review.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of new products / services within the organization from an operational perspective.
  • Develop a high performance team within the Real Estate Client sub-segment ensuring a competitive advantage in the market place.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the Real Estate teams to achieve client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Assist, coach and supervise local teams in all aspects with respect to services to Real Estate matters.
  • Monitor the profitability of Real Estate in the region and the market to (i) ensure our pricing is at the correct level, and propose and implement actions to increase profitability.
  • Effectively manage and monitor on-boarding of new business on existing and new client relationships.
  • Responsibility for all service delivery on real estate clients together with the service delivery teams and local country executive and / or client relationship manager in compliance with related service agreements and internal processes.
  • Actively assist (with country executives, local directors, relationship managers, etc) in successfully managing relationships with real estate clients to ensure client satisfaction and to create a growth strategy for such clients.
  • Maintain and develop solid and constructive relationships with other related service providers, including auditors, law firms, bankers, custodians, and prime brokers.
  • Proactively manage team performance reviews against agreed metrics.
  • Supporting country executive, regional sales lead and other business leaders on business development and marketing activities, including identifying new clients plus incremental opportunities of existing clients.
  • Push for cross-selling, to take up new services and or jurisdictions.
  • Participate in sales process as product specialist.
  • Act as a corporate ambassador making a significant contribution to enhance Alter Domus position within the global market place.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Strong and demonstrated experience in administering propcos from an operational and management perspective.
  • Solid knowledge in accounting, reporting and tax related to PERE structures.
  • A detailed and diversed knowledge of real estate, current business developments, market trends, financial products and services are required to effectively communicate with and gain the confidence of the team and clientele.
  • Have a strong passion for the real estate investment business, be interested in and able to comment on relevant developments in the region.
  • Ability to define and implement strategies for improving operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent organisational and team management skills; ability to attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong network of middle/senior executives in Real Estate firms globally, as well as relevant business feeders, to support effective sales strategies.
  • Refined interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and networking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to explain and help selling Propcos in multi-cultural / multi-jurisdiction environments.
