Compliance Senior Professional-Mauritius

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

You will assist the Asia Pacific Compliance Manager located in Singapore: 

 

  • Assist in overseeing corporate compliance programme
  • Ensuring documentation and client database is updated
  • Supporting the preparation of different and regular compliance reporting
  • Supporting the preparation of new clients submission to the Global Client Acceptance Committee
  • Assisting in the review of investor’s KYC
  • Assisting in the various second level control testing
  • Providing guidance on internal policies and procedures
  • Answering specific questions from internal staff on KYC and compliance processes
  • Supporting any other (internal/external) requests
  • Support the ADMU Office in the following:
    • Reviewing and proactively monitoring, auditing, inspecting and updating all internal control systems and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, standards, and policies pertaining to the company,
    • Proactively monitoring compliance, of all entities under ADMU management to ensure that they comply with their licencing conditions, all applicable laws, regulations, codes, practices and recommendations of relevant statutory bodies and authorities,
    • Highlight to the Head of Operations of the Mauritius Office and the Asia Pacific Compliance Manager any risks identified, any material breaches of the internal policies and procedures and of the relevant laws, codes and standards of good practice,
    • Investigating, resolving, or assisting in the resolution of all (non) compliance issues that may arise,
    • Collaborating and working closely with the MLRO to help in the detection and/or reporting and/or resolution of all suspicious transactions,
    • Review the Client Acceptance (CAC)  file for on-boarding of new entities and upload all supporting documents on the Global Client Acceptance Committee (GCAC) tool,
    • Support the team in coordinating with client to get the outstanding CAC documents,
    • Reviewing Risk Assessment Forms for clients

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • You have a University degree in Law, Finance or Economics.
  • You have ideally 3 years of experience in Fund Administration and/or Corporate Service Compliance
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language is considered as an advantage
  • You are results-oriented while being conscious of risk management
  • You are able to multitask and handle key deliverables with challenging deadlines
  • You have a keen eye for details and willing to execute tasks hands-on
  • Having knowledge on AML/KYC regulations of Asia Pacific regions will be considered as an advantage
