Reporting Business Analyst

At Alter Domus we are currently looking to hire a Reporting Business Analyst to join our expanding team. You will be part of the Global Reporting Team that implements and supports end-to-end reporting for the real estate fund services business line. You will work closely with the business to scope out and build new reporting requests, conduct training sessions, and answer/assist with support requests. This is a remote role with occasional travel to Cork as required. 


As a Reporting Business Analyst you will have several responsibilities:
•    Analyse customer requirements
•    Keep projects on budget and on time
•    Assist developers by analysing and identifying areas for system enhancements
•    Provide technical support to business users on the Reporting application suite
•    Run workshops, training sessions and write user manuals
•    Gather, understand, and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements on medium/large size projects.
•    Understand and follow appropriate SDLC, quality validation processes and application processes.
•    Develop and maintain custom reports in accounting system


Your profile:
•    Strong communication/interpersonal skills 
•    Experience acting as a liaison or interface between business users and technology team is preferred
•    Proactive learning style, highly inquisitive and curious attitude, and excellent track-record of solving complex problems with focus and determination
•    Good organizational skills and time-management skills
•    Highly capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
•    Capacity to build strong client relationships, and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate
•    Experience building reports, fund accounting reporting experience is a plus
•    Experience building Yardi YSR reports is a plus
•    MS SQL experience is required
•    Advanced skills in Excel
•    Excel VBA experience is preferred
