Investors Services Senior Officer - Cork

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

As a Senior Officer, you will use experience you have acquired in the past as well as excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to prioritise tasks, and strong personal character to help meet client requirements. Your team will benefit from your good listening skills, tailored coaching, and planning.

 

You will work on one of our largest client relationships and will have specific responsibility for the company secretarial and governance process undertaken by the Cork team. As part of the Investors services team and you will be given the option/encouraged to participate in few months training secondment in Luxembourg and be in charge of:

 

  • Assisting the in day to day management of the team and ensuring a high quality of service;
  • Reviewing the quality of the work completed  by junior officers and providing constructive feedback were necessary;
  • Reviewing subscription agreements and KYC documents for new investors;
  • Following-up on missing KYC information with the Engagement team and the client;
  • Ensuring the maintenance of KYC information in the clients/UBOs database and in the electronic document management system (EDMS);
  • Performance of ongoing monitoring tasks related to investors;
  • Contributing to the further improvement of the KYC processes and ensuring that the Team follows said procedures;
  • Working effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to ensure the mutual satisfactory resolution of key issues;
  • Assisting in the development of training materials and delivering training;
  • Serving as the primary point of contact with the Compliance department.

 

Your Profile:

 

  • You hold a degree in law, finance or economics;
  • You have between 3 and 5 years experience in compliance in the Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt, Infrastructure industry;
  • You show a strong interest in regulatory and compliance issues;
  • You have strong leadership skills & demonstrated an ability to assist in the management of a team;
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language will be considered an advantage;
  • You like working in a small team and you are able to think outside of the box;
  • You are able to interpret & implement changing regulatory guidelines;
  • You have strong knowledge of legal entity structures both domestic and international;
  • You are a results-oriented person;
  • You combine a large autonomy with the necessary attention to detail;
  • You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
