With significant growth and our desire to put information concisely into the hands of those who need it, we must also deliver the capability to use the data from Success Factors and our HR platform for effective workforce planning, HR service delivery, operational dashboards, and leadership insights.


We now seek a dedicated Head of HR Systems to lead the further development of our HR Systems strategy and footprint to support the delivery of our business and organisational ambitions, optimise the adoption and operation of our HR systems and leverage people data for business insight.
 

The Head of HR Systems


Reporting to the Director of Reward, Performance & HR Systems, the Head of HR systems will provide functional and technical expertise and leadership to drive, maintain and optimize Success Factors and other HR Systems. Main responsibilities include:


•    Continually assess and prioritise global HR Systems needs and chart the future HR systems architecture by consulting with management to understand needs and priorities and ultimately designing solutions and translating those solutions to requirements and plans for implementation;
•    Partner with subject matter experts across the function and business (e.g. HR Business Partners, HR Centres of Expertise, Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Compliance etc) to simplify and optimize processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance business capabilities for a thriving and dynamic organization;
•    Lead small, medium and large-scale implementations driving key investments in HR’s systems roadmap, modernizing our employee experience through technology and driving innovation;
•    Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, management, and projects related to the Success Factors platform;
•    Manage Success Factors upgrades, developing corresponding project plans to leverage new features;
•    Coordinate, manage and plan all strategic system integrations with other HR and business systems and third parties;
•    Develop intuitive and engaging self-service and manager self-service experiences;
•    Serve as a primary subject matter expert for Success Factors to optimize system design and configuration based on developing a clear understanding of end user needs;
•    Ensure system configuration documentation and documentation used for end user adoption and training is maintained;
•    Initiate system development projects including the recruitment of project resource and implement quality assurance standards to ensure successful execution and outcomes;
•    Research and resolve HR Systems challenges and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements;
•    Stay current on Success Factors and HR System trends and process best practices;
•    Constantly seek to leverage HR technology to advance processes that maximize efficiency and accuracy and minimize exposure;
•    Lead and mentor a team of functional professionals;
•    Support business planning processes, IT vendor and third-party provider contracting and management.


To succeed you will need 


Experience

  • 8+ years' experience (minimum) with Success Factor, with knowledge and understanding of HCM, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Recruiting, Reporting and Talent Management functionality;
  • 5+ years of managing HR Systems professionals who own configuration, maintenance, support, and project management of HR Systems projects;
  • Experience leading, managing, and implementing large-scale process and HCM system changes;
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to distill and present actionable information from complexity;
  • Worked in a fast paced, high growth environment;Defined requirements directly with senior HR and business leaders.

  • Highly analytical and detail conscious, validating quality of data input and reporting outcomes;
  • Able to understand and articulate requirements, challenge constructively and set clear expectations.

Skills

  • Certifications in project management or HR (SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-PCP);
  • Success Factors certification in Employee Central, Recruitment, and Compensation and Variable Pay;
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience), advanced degree preferred;
  • Knowledge of HRIS-related controls helpful;
  • Experience with Success Factors reporting tools ideally including SAP workforce analytics;
  • Data integration for reporting, able to identify and resolve data issues;
  • Advanced Excel user.
