Company Secretarial Officer

While employed as an Officer you will have the opportunity to attend training to enhance your current skills and learn new ones as well. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Interaction with clients, board members, third party intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, accountants and tax advisors via written or telephone communication;
  • Preparing for and participating in board and shareholder’s meetings, including but limited to drafting of agenda, circulating convening notices, preparation of board papers, attending meetings as representative of Alter Domus and producing minutes and action point schedules;
  • Review, circulation and completion of transaction documentation including sourcing relevant signatories and returning documentation in the requested manner;
  • Support the fund administration team in executing final form documentation in respect of investor servicing, client on-boarding, investment transactions, and other administrative activities;
  • When required, assisting with the ongoing monitoring of Know Your Customer / Client Due Diligence and promoter / corporate files; and
  • When required, assist in the set-up of electronic banking platforms and supporting accessories.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • You hold a relevant bachelor degree, preferably in a financial services related subject;
  • You have relevant experience of providing company secretarial and governance support services in the investment funds and/or fiduciary industry and be able to show a strong track record in dealing with clients and their boards of directors;
  • You are well organised and able to take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate; and
  • You have a passion for your role and for building successful client relationships through teamwork and high standards of service.
