POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Real Estate and Other Loan Services team works in many markets and across various product lines including commercial loan servicing, cash management, escrow, construction draw monitoring, and document custody. As a senior resource, you will be responsible for accurate recordkeeping and execution of all deal activities, across various product lines implementing and utilizing efficient and scalable processes. This role will act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, traders, fund managers, and other Alter Domus management.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take full ownership of client deliverables and ensure timeframes and deliverables agreed with client are met.
- Calculate, prepare, and distribute monthly reports related to commercial real estate loan servicing, repurchase facilities, loan participations, document custody, and escrow services.
- Review and approve distributions, and escrow payments via wire, ACH, or check.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts with bank records are completed.
- Assist on onboarding of new clients, including collection of KYC documentation and account opening.
- Perform active relationship management and manage issues as they arise objectively and directly with the client for resolution.
- Ensure exceptions are promptly cleared and procedures and regulations are followed.
- Identify areas for implementing additional operational efficiencies and technology solutions.
- Lead, develop, and mentor career path of team members.
- Complete special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the financial services or the commercial loan services industry.
- Knowledge of loan operations, including CRE secured loan facilities, commercial mortgage lending, or loan securitization with product knowledge and customer service experience.
- Significant industry knowledge and experience with complex loan structures and related servicing solutions
- Demonstrated analytic skills and strong working knowledge of fundamental financial/accounting/business concepts.
- Proactive in learning and mastering new concepts, new loan regulations, and creative service processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other loan research and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of loan servicing technology platforms
Salary range depending on experience: $60,000-105,000+
