Job Duties	Analyzing business problem statements relating to fund administration and accounting and designing and developing software solutions for a proprietary Fund Administration software working in tandem with a large and global development team. Understanding complex financial services concepts and applying them to design and test new system features built on top of these concepts including new financial rules requirements and new service offerings. Utilizing accounting and fund administration knowledge to evaluate whether software solution being developed is producing the correct answer according to the United States, Luxembourg (LUX) (Luxembourg), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other global accounting literature. Analyzing existing and functioning Fund Administration software from the front and back-end to understand existing and expected system processing and understanding why a specific outcome was received, identifying if this is appropriate and then identifying next steps such as additional validation, changes required, and appropriate resolution path. Utilizing MS Excel to create expected results and analyze actual system results and using advanced functions including pivot tables, financial, and logical formulas to support data and results analysis that involve detailed calculations and business logic and comparison to system results. Utilizing MSSQL databases and Data Integration including ETL or T-SQL to understand complex relational database models (greater than 75 tables) and writing complex SQL which include Select statements including various types of joins (inner and outer) spanning 5-10 tables and writing Update and Delete statements to retrieve and alter data. Utilizing complex financial services concepts and knowledge to test features following the rules of US/LUX GAAP, IFRS for structured debt and complex derivatives, accretion/amortization, debt instrument accruals, foreign currency re-valuations, investor allocations, and investor and instrument level returns. Job Requirements	Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Business Analyst I-related occupation. Position requires 24 months of experience in each of the following: Working with or testing fund accounting software, focusing on hedge funds, private equity, credit and real estate funds such as Yardi or eFront or Investran or Geneva or other similar fund administration software; Applying or testing complex portfolio accounting concepts with special focus on debt such as bank debt economics accruals or different type of amortization or Time Weighted Return (TWR) or Internal Rate of Return (IRR) investment return calculations; Applying or testing complex partnership accounting concepts such as series or monetized or closed-end or multi-level fund structure capital calls or re-balancing or equalization; Developing or testing proprietary software including designing, testing, and participating in change management; Working with database queries and low-level programming tools including T-SQL or Excel VBA macros Working in an Agile development team using tools including Azure or JIRA.
