Senior Associate – DCM Agency Onboarding
· Review and extract data from loan agreements, amendments, and other governing loan documents, ensuring accurate application on the internal systems;
· Perform heavy data entry in internal systems and Microsoft Excel
· Ensure proper system set-up including maintenance of changing deal attributes.
· Use judgment, interpretation and problem-solving to understand loan related information.
· Understand services offered and risks as it relates to Agency and alert Manager to out of scope requirements, risk issues, etc.
· Work with Loan Agency staff to manage and communicate deal information to internal clients and other client services teams.
· Develop and maintain a solid working relationship with internal clients, lenders and borrowers, providing exceptional customer service
· Assist in reporting of metrics to internal teams
· Assist Project managers in the client onboarding process across multiple product verticals
· Train and coach staff on deal documentation, industry standards, professional communication and execution of client workflow deliverables
· Work in a dynamic team environment and participate in strategic initiatives, identifying and implementing best practices and operational efficiencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics (or commensurate work experience).
· 3+ years of investment management operations experience or bank loan agency/syndication experience.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience.
· Ability to collaborate with internal groups and other client support stakeholders.
· Strong verbal/written communication skills.
· Ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
· Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
· Demonstrated analytic skills, strong working knowledge of fundamental financial/accounting/business concepts, and a proactive interest in learning and mastering new concepts.
