JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for accurate recordkeeping and execution of all loan activities including, but not limited to: loan disbursements, repayments, payoff letters, amortization schedules, borrower billing statements, client invoices, and new loan set-up
- Use effective listening and communication skills to liaise with clients, internal Alter Domus teams and external parties regarding the timeliness and accuracy of loan activity information
- Maintain loan product knowledge to review loan activity such as borrowing billing, payments, disbursements, amortization schedules, payoffs, and reports
- Review new loan set-up to ensure accuracy
- Ensure timely, accurate data entry into loan processing and customer systems
- Review and process distributions, and escrow payments via wire, ACH, or check
- Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of accounts with bank records
- Document custodial services for commercial, residential, or other loan facilities. Inventory and certify loan files, reporting exceptions. Processing of full or partial release requests
- Assist on onboarding of new clients, including collection of KYC documentation and account opening

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or economics or commensurate work experience
- Work experience with real estate loans and account servicing a plus
- Ability to independently research and resolve problems
- Responsive, friendly, professional, highly organized, and superb communication style
- Solid Microsoft Excel experience
- Knowledge or familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other loan research and analysis tools an advantage
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive within a high-volume data-entry environment with both proficiency and accuracy
- Demonstrated willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.
