Chicago, US Cork, IE Vilnius, LT US Dublin 2, IE

This key role is part of the newly formed Data and Analytics team. This team will build data-driven applications and products with a vision to be the market leader in providing insights to investors in the alternative investments arena, including private equity, private debt and commercial real estate. The team has deep expertise in building billion dollars plus businesses and is poised for exponential growth. You will work alongside a proven team with a diverse background from tech, consulting, data science, and financial services who have a deep understanding of what it takes to build scalable software and successful products and businesses.  This can be a hybrid or fully remote position, depending on the candidate's location and proximity to an Alter Domus physical office.

Current leadership has invested heavily in technology to enable growth. Technology is part and parcel of the products we are building and is involved in a leading role in the early stage of the product development life cycle. We are not tied to a specific technology stack or framework. Our team has sufficient autonomy to create our own path, either building directly, working with partners or 3rd party tools.  We want to use the right tool for the right job. There has been significant investment in building a team that can handle large, disparate datasets with a focus on automation using AI/ML. We want to build the right thing and build it well.

This role will define the strategy and the implementation of the heavy data work that needs to be done. The Data Engineer will work closely with the quant and data operations team to provide secure, scalable, and robust data pipelines that will be the life blood of our environment and future expansion. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities.
