Your Responsibilities
Implementation & Testing
- Support the end-to-end testing of the data import platform, including user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing and integration testing with Yardi
- Contribute to the preparation of test scripts, test plans, process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other implementation documentation
- Develop and maintain data testing frameworks, including sample datasets, expected outputs and reconciliation checklists
- Document and track defects, issues and resolutions, escalating where appropriate to the senior PDT manager or vendor project team
- Support the configuration and setup of the data import platform in line with agreed specifications, liaising with the vendor project team as required
- Work with third-party service providers and business operations team members to understand data formats, submission processes and common data quality issues
- Lead data validation activities during testing, ensure that accounting data ingested via the data import platform is accurately received, mapped and reconciled within Yardi
- Identify, document and escalate data mapping errors, format inconsistencies or reconciliation failures, working with the vendor project team to resolve them
- Review and validate data flows between third-party service providers and Yardi, identifying mapping errors, data quality issues or reconciliation discrepancies
- - Work closely with business operations team members to validate that system functionality meets business requirements and reflects real-world accounting workflows
Go-Live Readiness
- Participate in go-live readiness assessments, cutover planning and parallel run reconciliations
- Support the coordination of UAT sessions with operations users, capturing and acting on structured feedback
- Contribute to sign-off documentation and ensure all outstanding issues are tracked and resolved prior to go-live
Training & Post-Go-Live Support
- - Take an active role in designing and delivering the end-user training programme, including the creation of role-specific training materials, quick reference guides and e-learning content where appropriate
- Coordinate the training schedule in collaboration with the senior PDT manager and operations team leads
- Act as a point of contact for system and data-related queries from users following go-live, triaging and resolving issues where possible and escalating as appropriate
- Maintain and update user guides, FAQs, SOPs and process documentation as the system evolves
- Monitor system performance and data flows post-implementation, escalating issues to the senior PDT manager or vendor as appropriate
- Maintain a log of user queries and system issues, identifying trends and feeding insights back to the senior PDT manager to inform continuous improvement
- Support periodic data quality reviews and reconciliation checks post-implementation
- Support the onboarding of new users and the rollout of system updates or enhancements
Wider PDT Contribution
- Following go-live, contribute to the broader PDT in supporting Yardi and other real asset operations systems
- Contribute to the development of data standards, best practices and documentation frameworks across the team
- Share knowledge and best practice, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Support ad hoc project and operational tasks as directed by the senior PDT manager
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Experience working with real estate accounting or property management systems (experience with Yardi is highly desirable)
- Understanding of real estate or fund accounting concepts, including the flow of financial data between service providers and asset managers
- Strong data analysis skills, with proven experience in data validation, reconciliation or quality assurance in a finance or real estate context
- Experience supporting or participating in system implementations, UAT or technology change programmes
- High proficiency in Excel and/or other data analysis tools, with the ability to build reconciliation templates and analyse large datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data discrepancies and trace issues through a system workflow
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills, with experience preparing clear documentation, test scripts, SOPs or user guides
- Confident interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-stakeholder project environment, engaging with a wide range of colleagues from technical vendor teams to non-technical end-users
- Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
Desirable
- Familiarity with data integration/aggregation platforms or concepts
- Experience delivering end-user training or producing structured training materials
- Exposure to third-party property management or accounting data providers (e.g. JLL, CBRE, Savills or similar)
- Understanding of data mapping, ETL processes or API-based integrations at a conceptual level
