Your role

As a Senior Officer, you will take ownership of core accounting functions and play an active role in client delivery. You will work with greater independence, support junior team members, and act as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients on day-to-day matters.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Own and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for assigned clients
  • Process, review, and post vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy across accounts and business units
  • Maintain and update the vendor invoice approval matrix, auditing for compliance and correct approvals
  • Prepare and submit NACHA files and manage electronic payment processing
  • Lead month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, cash entries, reporting, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain complete and accurate vendor files including W9s and ACH payment details
  • Assist in year-end close processes including audit financials, supporting schedules, footnotes, and 1099 preparation
  • Identify and resolve vendor discrepancies, escalating where appropriate
  • Support ad hoc delivery projects and process improvement initiatives

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high volume accounting environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and report on financial data
  • Excellent communication skills; confident in following up with stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel
